Alinka Rowe

Viola

British-Polish violist, Alinka Rowe, enjoys a varied and versatile career. She regularly performs across the UK and Europe, playing at venues such as Wigmore Hall, Kings Place, Konzerthaus Berlin and the Royal Albert Hall. She performs regularly at chamber music festivals including Musikdorf Ernen, Wye Valley Chamber Music Festival, Mendelssohn on Mull and Lewes International Chamber Music Festival.

A deeply committed chamber musician, she has collaborated with eminent artists including Steven Isserlis, Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Sheku Kanneh-Mason and the Brodsky, Doric and Jerusalem quartets. She has also recorded for Decca Classics with the Cassadó Ensemble. She is regularly invited as guest principal viola in orchestras including Aurora Orchestra, Kammerorchester I TEMPI and Stuttgarter Kammerorchester. Alinka has a been a participant in the prestigious masterclasses at IMS Prussia Cove with Ferenc Rados, Rita Wagner and Claudio Martinez Mehner, as well as the IMS Tour 2021, which culminated with performances at Champs Hill and Wigmore Hall. Alinka is currently studying at the Musik Akademie Basel with Claudio Martinez-Mehner.
